About the Job

We are looking for someone who wants to work with us at the Women’s Health Care in Southern Halland, a workplace characterized by joy at work and great participation. The Women’s Health Care has three locations in Southern Halland: Halmstad, Laholm, and Hyltebruk. For this position, the main placement will be in Halmstad.

You will work with:

• Health care related to pregnancy.
• Providing support in parenting with childbirth and parental preparation.
• Contraceptive counseling.
• Gynecological cervical screening to prevent cervical cancer. We have a new cervical screening department in the same building, which provides a positive variation for our employees from a work environment perspective.
• Vaccination against HPV virus in accordance with study projects.
• Public health work and discussions about lifestyle issues.

Telephone counseling and continuous quality development of the work are also included in the daily tasks.

About the Workplace

The Women’s Health Care (KHV) is part of the Women’s Health Care and Youth Clinics area in Halland, and at the clinic, specialist doctors, midwives, psychologists, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work in teams. We work according to a developed division of labor, meaning the right person does the right things. KHV has a close collaboration with the women’s healthcare at Halland Hospital.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. We value a genuine interest in Women’s Health Care and a commitment to further develop the field. We are at the forefront of digitalization and modern working methods and work to create innovative solutions and good accessibility.

You are flexible and can take initiative, as well as being secure and independent in your professional role. You contribute to creating a good work environment and have a strong interest in development and improvement work. You enjoy working collaboratively around families and are attentive and humble in your interactions with your patients and their relatives. Furthermore, you have a good ability to collaborate both internally and externally with different workgroups and across boundaries with other units. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing and are computer literate. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
